What is Corenexa Mobile App?
At a basic level, Corenexa Mobile App allows you to make and receive phone calls on your corporate phone system via an app on your smartphone. Additionally, Corenexa Mobile App allows you to manage your work voicemails, view and utilize Conference Rooms (if enabled) as well as manage your Extension settings such as Call Forwarding. The exciting ability to support SMS over your business phone numbers has recently been added. Expect to see many more exciting features as this app continues to be developed.
Where do I get it?
How do I sign in?
The same User Account that signs you into the TelNexa Portal will also allow you access to Corenexa Mobile App. Check with your System Administrator for further information.
The app will also allow you scan a QR Code to sign in without entering credentials. The QR Code can be found in your Teams UC Desktop by clicking on in the left menu and selecting "Mobile Download"
Why aren't calls ringing on my Mobile App?
Since Corenexa Mobile App utilizes data to provide you with your calls, we have provided you with the ability to decide how you wish to handle Incoming Calls. This setting was decided when you initially installed the app, but can be adjusted under Settings > Inbound Calling. Be sure you have your app setup to meet your needs. The available options are:
- Accept inbound calls via WiFi & Cellular
- Accept inbound calls via WiFi
- Do not accept inbound calls
Additionally, the default settings in some residential routers can interfere with our Voice services. If you have access to your router's administrative interface, try disabling any feature that references SIP or VOIP as these "helpers" only get in the way. You may want to Google your router model + "SIP" to see if there are any model-specific guides to help you out.
What's with this Messages tab?
TelNexa can now support SMS messaging via your business phone numbers. SMS messages can be both sent and received using either the Teams UC desktop or within Corenexa Mobile App. Clients are able to communicate using their preferred method without you're having to share your private cellphone number. Speak with your System Administrator about enabling SMS Messaging.
