Bug Alert: Yealink firmware v66.84.0.10

We have recently become aware of a bug in the most recent Yealink firmware that relates to the Message button used for retrieving voicemails.

Condition

• If a user presses the Message button after picking up the handset, nothing happens. Pressing the Message button prior to picking up the handset operates normally

Resolution

• For the time being, press the Message button before picking up the handset. Once the call has been initialized, the user may pick up the handset and the call will operate normally.

Yealink is aware of the issue. We anticipate a firmware release that resolves this problem in the near future. This post will be updated once the update is available for deployment.
