Fixes & Improvements in Mobile 2.0.1
Mobile apps do not stop ringing when call is answered at the desk phone.
This is now fixed in both Android and iOS apps. This also includes improvement in other advanced ringing scenarios such as ring groups.
One way and two way audio loss on iOS
Users should see marked improvement in setting up the audio stream on calls. There are still some home and office wifi networks that could fail to receive one way audio, we are continuing to investigate these issues.
Users unexpectedly logged out of app
We identified and fixed cases where the app was logging out prematurely on some failed network requests. We have fixed inaccurate error case of “Invalid Session.” The user should no longer be logged out during normal usage of the app.
Android and iOS apps do not ring for all incoming calls
We have identified and fixed bugs where both apps failed to wake up and initialize calling services from the background.
Receiving Invalid Calls
Updates have been made to the iOS and Android apps to alleviate conditions where calls would ring on a phone that could not answer them.
Android call audio is lost when screen turns off during call.
This is a documented problem on some Samsung devices. We have added an application setting where users can disable the “screen-off” functionality. For reference, these instructions have been added to our Mobile FAQ.
Android contacts fail to load or take too long to load
A local Contact cache has been added to the Android app. This improves performance of both device and corporate contacts.
