Sometimes we get harassing phone calls that just never seem to stop. Fortunately, The PureEdge VOIP platform provides a simple method to block these calls and never be bothered by them again.
- Log into Corenexa Web Client
- Open Automation Manager
- Navigate to Services > Call Blocking
- Click "New Call Block"
- Enter the 10-digit phone number to be blocked
- Just enter digits, no special characters such as spaces, dashes or parentheses.
- Click the Direction dropdown list and select Inbound
- Selecting Outbound will block users from calling this phone number. If this is selected a Play dropdown list will appear. Select what a caller should hear when they try to dial this number.
- Busy = Busy signal
- Play Message = Prerecorded system message stating that the number has been blocked
- Selecting Outbound will block users from calling this phone number. If this is selected a Play dropdown list will appear. Select what a caller should hear when they try to dial this number.
- Enter a Comment, if desired
- Click Save
