FindMe can provide the following features:
- Call Screening
- Hunt through up to five phone numbers; both internal Extensions and Outside Numbers
- Time-based routing at the Extension level
- Ensures callers don't end up in cellphone voicemail or other "dead end"
FindMe can be enabled for both Standard and Cloud Extensions.
Typical FindMe Experience for Callers
- Caller dials or is transferred to Extension
- Caller hears:
"You have reached the Personal Assistant of Recorded Name. To reach this person, press one. To leave a message, press two"
- FindMe uses the Recorded Name within the associated Mailbox for this part of the script
- FindMe uses the Recorded Name within the associated Mailbox for this part of the script
- If the Caller presses 2, they are routed to the associated Mailbox
- If the Caller presses 1, caller hears:
"After the tone, please state your name. When you are finished, press Pound" - Caller records their name and hears:
"Please wait while we locate your party" - The system will place the caller on hold and attempt to dial the first number in the FindMe queue
- If the call is not answered at the first destination attempted and additional destinations assigned, the Caller hears:
"Your party did not answer. To leave a message, press 2 or continue to hold while I try another location" - After all destinations have been attempted, the caller hears:
"Your party could not be located. Press 1 to leave a message or hang up and try again later"
FindMe Experience for Extension users
- Destination phone rings and shows original caller's Caller ID
- Upon answering, the system states:
"You have an incoming call from Caller's Recorded Name.
To accept this call, press 1
To reject this call, press 2
To reject this call and leave a message for the caller, press 3"
- Press 1 to be immediately connected to the caller
- Press 2 or hang up to send the caller to the next step in FindMe
- Press 3 to send the caller to the next step in FindMe after playing them a message
Enabling FindMe
- Log into the PureEdge portal
- Navigate to Services > Extensions
- Locate and click on the Extension desired
- Scroll down to Inbound Dialing Rules
- Click the dropdown box next to the desired Route Option and select FindMe
- Click Save

FindMe settings can be found by navigating to the Extension Settings and clicking on the FindMe tab

Ring Strategy |
