Change Extension Name

• Log into Corenexa Web Client
• Open Automation Manager
• Navigate to Services > Extension > Standard
• Search for and click on the Extension Number
• Edit the Name field
• Click "Save"
• Navigate to Services > Mailbox > Standard
• Search for and click on the Mailbox number
• Edit the Name field
  • NOTE: This field is used by the automated Dial-by-Name Directory
• Click "Save"
• Wait five minutes and reboot phone

REMEMBER: Changing the name of an extension does not change the labels on any phones that may have speed dials or BLF's assigned as programmable buttons. Button labels are programmed on each individual phone and need to be changed at Services > Endpoints or on the phone itself.
